Prof. Lidiya S. Hryniv (PhD), head of the department of Economics at the National University in Lviv, is experienced in national and international projects concerning the integration of economy, regional and sustainable development, and ecology. Her lecture is about rural development towards sustainability in Ukraine - practice and trans-disciplinary methodological approach.
Marija Nijnik (PhD, PhD), senior research scientist at the Macaulay Land Use Research Institute in Aberdeen, works on national and international projects concerning sustainable rural development, climate change, and landscape management in connection with forestry. Her lecture is about ru-ral economy and policies towards sustainable development, land use and landscape change.
